SERVICOM inaugurates SERVICE Charter Redesign committee
Worried by the non implementation of the original plan for the publication of charters at service windows, the SERVICOM office has inaugurated the Service charter Redesign committee to, among other things, review the present processes and guidelines for formulating and presenting service charters and establish the reason for their ineffectiveness vis-à-vis the purpose of having charters in the first place.
SERVICOM Scores NTA low in service delivery
The SERVICOM Office has evaluated the services of the Nigerian Television Authority rating it low and making recommendations on how services can be improved by the authority. The management of NTA, however thinks otherwise and have decided to write a formal reaction to issues that affected the grading of the organisation. The service of the media house was rated 40 per cent.
OSCAR secures 1.3 million claims for accident victim
The One –Stop -Claims shop for Motor Vehicle Insurance (OSCAR) has handed over a cheque of N1.335 million to one Miss Amanda Williams as claims after her car was written off due to an accident in August of 2008.
Federal Staff hospital braces up for service improvement
The Federal Staff Hospital, Abuja is to appoint complaints officers who would handle, treat and document patient’s complaints as it relates to services being rendered at the hospital. This is part of its reaction to its SERVICOM evaluation report aimed at improving services in the hospital.
Road safety addresses health concern of helmet users
The Federal Road safety Commission is taking action to ensure that all helmet used in the country by passengers of commercial motor cyclists are treated regularly to ensure that users don’t  get infected as a result of multiple usage.
